In this role, you will provide software maintenance, engineering support, and enhancements to high-consequence systems. You will work across the full technology stack—developing, integrating, and optimizing both front-end and back-end components—to ensure reliable, secure, and mission-ready software.

Required Qualifications:

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications, including debugging, workflow optimization, and implementation of automated monitoring and alerting
• Build and automate secure deployment pipelines for services, applications, and custom code using CI/CD tools and DevSecOps best practices
• Ensure solutions meet program requirements and product owner objectives, incorporating security, compliance, and operational constraints
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments
• Integrate security automation, code scanning, and compliance checks into development and deployment workflows to support mission-critical reliability and RMF/A&A requirements

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, Master’s with 6+ years, or 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Strong expertise in full-stack development with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and system integration.
• Proficient in Python, Tomcat, Linux/Windows, PostgreSQL, and GIS applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, and deploying applications in containerized environments.
• Hands-on with Agile/DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and automated testing.
• Skilled in application and database security, configuration management, and change request processes.
• Experience integrating tools like Appian, OpenShift, and Framemaker into enterprise systems.
• Proficient with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence) and debugging/troubleshooting microservices.

OtusIQ is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver mission-critical capabilities in support of National Security operations. In this role, you will lead the architecture and development of high-consequence software systems, leveraging modern cloud-based environments and DevSecOps best practices.

You will guide the transformation of existing applications into secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions—streamlining deployment pipelines, increasing release velocity, and ensuring operational resilience in demanding environments. This position requires both technical depth and leadership, with a focus on engineering solutions that perform without failure.

Required Qualifications:

• Self-motivated professional with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft platform technologies and modern programming languages

OtusIQ is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support mission-critical systems across hybrid environments spanning AWS and on-premises data centers. In this role, you will help modernize and sustain operational platforms by automating infrastructure, supporting cloud migrations, and enhancing application reliability in high-consequence environments.

You will work closely with engineers, operators, and stakeholders to integrate new capabilities, analyze system performance and data trends, and continuously improve applications using Agile and DevSecOps practices. This position is ideal for a mid-career professional who is comfortable working across both cloud and traditional infrastructure and is ready to make a direct impact on National Security missions.

Required Qualifications:

• Design, implement, and support DevSecOps solutions across AWS and on-premises environments, including application migration and modernization efforts
• Build, integrate, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with embedded security controls, compliance checks, and policy enforcement
• Implement security automation for code scanning, container scanning, dependency analysis, and infrastructure compliance
• Support system Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) / RMF activities by integrating continuous monitoring, evidence collection, and compliance reporting into DevSecOps pipelines
• Monitor and analyze application performance, traffic, logs, and security events using centralized logging and monitoring tools; provide data-driven recommendations
• Enable Agile development workflows through automated testing, secure deployment, and continuous integration practices
• Collaborate with software engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet technical, security, and mission requirements

Core Requirements:

• Apply Agile methodologies and tools to drive iterative development, secure delivery, and cross-team collaboration in mission-critical environments
• Manage projects and workflows using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools to ensure transparency, traceability, and on-time delivery
• Maintain and optimize source control/versioning systems (Git, Bitbucket, SVN, TFS) with integrated security and compliance checks
• Develop and maintain build automation pipelines (Gradle, Maven, Grunt) within secure development environments (Vagrant, Cloud9 IDE), embedding DevSecOps best practices
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI) with automated security scanning, policy enforcement, and compliance integration
• Configure, automate, and manage infrastructure and applications using configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Chef) with security hardening
• Monitor system and application performance, logs, and security events using Nagios, Prometheus, New Relic, or similar tools to proactively detect and remediate issues
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes with secure, production-ready orchestration and RBAC policies
• Optimize AWS environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security, including hybrid cloud/on-prem integration and automated compliance enforcement
• Support cross-domain architectures and multi-level security environments, ensuring secure operations across classified and unclassified networks
• Lead automated testing, continuous monitoring, and participation in Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) to enforce software quality, cybersecurity standards, and RMF/A&A compliance
• Integrate security automation tools for code analysis, dependency scanning, container scanning, and infrastructure-as-code validation to enforce DevSecOps best practices
